Axel Van Book dropped 31 points as San Beda University overcomes the San Sebastian College-Recoletos, 23-25, 25-22, 21-25, 25-21, 15-11, in the NCAA Season 100 men's volleyball tournament at the Jose Rizal University gym in Mandaluyong.

Book had 28 attacks and three blocks, on top of 18 excellent receptions, for the Red Spikers' bounce back victory after losing to De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde last March 13.

Ralph Cabalsa and Ryan Rosman added 16 points each, while AJ Rus proved to be efficient in defense with 20 excellent digs and 30 excellent receptions. San Beda improved to 4-2.
