Colegio de San Juan de Letran survived a tough challenge from Emilio Aguinaldo College, 25-22, 23-25, 26-24, 25-20, for back-to-back wins in the NCAA Season 100 men's volleyball tournament on Thursday at the Jose Rizal University gym in Mandaluyong.

Lorenz Vicente delivered the winning blow for the Knights as he led with 15 points anchored on 14 attacks, while Vince Himzon also had 15 points from 11 attacks and four blocks. Team captain and setter John Wayne Arano, meanwhile, had 22 out of Letran's 24 excellent sets, and five points from three blocks and two attacks as Letran improved to 3-2.

The win spoiled Frel Taculog's 20-point outing as the Generals absorbed their third straight loss.

Letran will be back in action on Saturday against Arellano University, while EAC will return on March 27 to face De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.
