Team Saints swept Team Heroes, 25-20, 25-23, in the women's NCAA All-Star Game on Sunday in the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

The Jerry Yee-mentored squad defeated the Heroes as Letran's Cha Cuñada listed 11 points to become the Most Valuable Player of the game. Season MVP Mary Rhose Dapol had nine points while KJ Dioniso had six points.

Nicole Ong led the Heroes with eight points, while JRU star alumna Shola Alvarez had seven points.

The graduating Cuñada said her newest achievement is her gift to the Letran community.

"Siyempre unang-una, masaya po. Thankful ako kasi isang achievement na naman po ang nakuha ko," said Cuñada. "Maganda po siyang iwan sa Letran and sa Team Saints."

Before the Saints swept the Heroes, romance filled the venue as Rey Taneo made a surprise engagement to Regine Arocha.
