University of Perpetual Help System DALTA swept Mapua University, 25-16, 25-19, 25-17, to secure the second spot in the NCAA Season 98 women's volleyball tournament on Sunday at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.

Mary Rhose Dapol and Shai Omipon had 13 points, while Janine Padua had 11 points in the win which gave Perpetual an 8-1 record at the end of the elimination round.

Roxie dela Cruz had eight points in the Mapua loss which handed them a 6-3 record at the end of the elimination round to secure the fourth spot.

Both teams will have to wait if De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde will sweep the elimination round to determine if there will be a Final Four or stepladder postseason.
