Mapua University and Emilio Aguinaldo College both made quick work of their respective opponents in the NCAA Season 98 men's volleyball tournament on Tuesday.

Mapua got back to its winning ways after blanking De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, 25-23, 25-15, 25-21, with open spiker Barbie San Andres leading the way as they improved to 4-2.

San Andres dropped 21 points built on 19 attacks, one block, and an ace to help the Cardinals recovered from a previous loss to Arellano University last weekend.

Meanwhile, Emilio Aguinaldo College booked a similar victory after pulling off a 25-10, 25-8, 25-18 triumph over Lyceum of the Philippines University earlier in the day.

The Generals grabbed their fourth win in five games behind Joshua Ramilo and Marvin Romero who each had 11 points in the win while Joshua Olivo chipped in nine.
