Later in the evening, Mapua bounced back at the expense of San Sebastian College-Recoletos with a straight sets victory, 25-22, 25-18, 25-13.

JRU and Mapua will meet each other on Wednesday while LPU will go against Arellano on the same day. San Sebastian, on the other hand, will face Letran on Thursday.
