San Beda downs Letran in four sets to open Season 98 men's volleyball campaign

San Beda University took down Colegio de San Juan de Letran, 28-26, 19-25, 25-22, 25-23, on Sunday to open their campaign in the NCAA Season 98 men's volleyball tournament at the San Andres Sports Complex in Manila.

The Red Spikers were up 24-21 in the fourth set before Letran salvaged two match points. It was Ryan Rosman who sealed the deal for the Mendiola-based squad.

San Beda outlasted Letran in the opening set before the Knights took the next set to tie the match.

The Red Spikers will face De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde next on Saturday while the men from Muralla will go against Intramuros neighbors Mapua University on Friday.
