The De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde community on Friday held a celebration for the NCAA Season 97 women's volleyball championship of the Lady Blazers.
The celebration, which was hosted by NCAA anchor Anton Roxas and courtside reporter Chantal Laude, happened a week after the Taft-based squad dethroned Arellano University and completed its season sweep.
In an interview on JP Soriano's 24 Oras report last Friday, Season 97 MVP and team captain Mycah Go thanked those who supported them in their journey.
"Thank you to those people who believed in us from the beginning until now na nanalo na kami ng championship," she said.
Meanwhile, CSB president Br. Edmundo Fernandez FSC said he is happy that the team brought honor to the Benildean community.
"I hope they continue to be hungry for winning. That's more important than just winning," he said.
