JRU's Angel Bautista hopes for fast recovery after injury

Jose Rizal University's Angel Bautista only hopes for one thing after an apparent knee injury.

"Fast recovery lang po para makatulong ulit sa team," said Bautista after the match on Saturday.

Bautista on Saturday sustained the injury after a bad landing early in their match against Arellano University.

According to head coach Mia Tioseco, nothing is official yet about Bautista's injury as they need to bring her to the hospital for tests.

With the injury, JRU physical therapist Louie Mesina shared that Bautista was still thinking of how she can help the team after the bad landing.

While JRU was one person down in the match, they still took a set against Arellano.

"Sanay naman sa movements. Lahat naman nagpa-practice since nasa bubble, so alam naman lahat ng movements," Tioseco said.

Nanibago siya I guess. We'll make our adjustments pagdating namin sa bubble."

JRU will be back in action on Wednesday against the University of Perpetual Help.
