Lyceum of the Philippines University may have picked up a four-set victory over San Beda University but head coach Cromwell Garcia was left unsatisfied with how they got the victory.
According to the tactician, despite the win, his wards committed a series of errors, especially on the service line, which allowed the Lady Red Spikers to extend the match to four frames.
"Medyo dami naming service errors lalo nung third set," said Garcia following their 25-21, 25-22, 20-25, 25-23 win on Saturday.
"Good win naman 'to for us kasi bounce back ng mga bata kasi galing sa talo. Hopefully, magtuloy-tuloy na and siguro, we will try to lessen the service errors. Hindi pang-volleyball eh."
Although LPU outplayed San Beda in terms of aces after they drilled 14, the Lady Pirates posted 47 errors, mostly coming on their serves.
"Actually, sa 14 aces na 'yon, I'm not satisfied kasi 'yung tinapon namin na services, hindi na dapat aabot ng gantong kalayo or didikit ng ganitong ka-crucial kung hindi kami nagtatapon ng puntos."
