Perpetual, Benilde claim NCAA table tennis crowns

University of Perpetual Help System DALTA ruled the women's and juniors divisions of the NCAA Season 99 table tennis tournament, while De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde won the men's title on Thursday at the Emilio Aguinaldo College gym in Manila.

Perpetual defeated San Beda University in the women's and juniors finals, while Benilde emerged victorious in the men's finals against the Mendiola crew.

 

 

Jose Rizal University finished third after beating EAC in the battle for bronze of the juniors division, while Perpetual claimed bronze in the men's division after winning against Mapua University. Benilde finished third in the women's division as it won against EAC.

Perpetual's Gerald Aguilar was the Rookie Most Valuable Player of the juniors division, while Benilde's Henze Dominique Lucero was named a Rookie MVP also on the men's side. Perpetual's Chrisien Mae Santillan also bagged the Freshman of the Year, and Rookie MVP plums for the women's division, while Raul Mallen III of Mapua University was the Freshman of the Year for the men's division.
