San Beda dominates NCAA Season 99 swimming

San Beda University once again ruled the waters in the NCAA Season 99 swimming tournament held last December 13-15 at the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.

The men's team extended its reign to its 20th year as the Red Sea Lions once again emerged as the champions of the tournament.

San Beda had a total of 1380 points to win the overall men's championship, followed by distant second De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde with 725.75 points. University of Perpetual Help System DALTA finished third with 279.25 points.

It was also San Beda that dominated the women's division for their 10th straight title with 1526.50 points. Benilde and Perpetual also made it to the podium.

For the juniors division, Benilde won with 1025.50 points, followed by San Beda and Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

Benilde's Lance Rafael Cruz and San Beda's Jake Ellis Evangelista and Ange Lyn Docabo were named as Most Valuable Athletes of their respective divisions.
