LPU's Digno books final semis slot in NCAA Season 96 online chess

The final four of the NCAA Season 96 online chess tournament is now set.

Lyceum of the Philippines University's (LPU) Neymark Digno punched the last ticket to the semifinals after defeating Mapua University's John Paolo Medina in the featured match of the tourney aired on Sunday.

Digno will complete the semis cast made up of Arellano University's Carl Jaedrianne Ancheta, University of Perpetual Help System DALTA's Carl Zirex Sato, and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde's Adrian Othniel Yulo.

Digno and Sato will be pooled together, while Yulo and Ancheta will face off on the other side of the bracket.

The semis match will air on Monday and Tuesday.

Watch the chess matches every day on GTV, which airs 3:00 pm (weekdays), 4:30 pm (Saturdays), and 5:05 pm (Sundays).
