Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96

These athletes did not only find their love for sports, they’ve also found their love through it.

Real life partners Monica Avila and Vincent Lovitos from the College of St. Benilde and Arjohn Dela Cruz and Marie Bautista of the San Sebastian College-Recoletos shared on ‘Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96’ how they've crossed paths through sports.

Avila, who’s a former  CSB volleyball player, and Lovitos, a former team captain of Benilde’s football squad, transformed from being best friends to being a couple and they spilled on the show the key to lasting relationships: trust.

Meanwhile, Stags Dela Cruz and Bautista will celebrate their 10th year anniversary next year where they will also officially tie the knot.

San Beda University’s swimming standout Kim Ambong shared how her love of the game kept her going despite the challenges of being a student-athlete and at the same time, a working student.

Ashley Rivera, more popularly known as the Petra Mahalimuyak, taught hosts Martin Javier and Sophia Senoron her ‘hugot’ workouts that were composed of alternating lunges, squats, push-ups and sit-ups.
