The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) opened its historic 100th season on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
SB19's Justin was among the performers in the opening ceremony which highlighted the league's history and players. P-pop group G22 also performed the league's theme song for the season 'Own the Future.'
Atty. Roberto P. Laurel, president of host school Lyceum of the Philippines University, gave the welcome remarks while Department of Education secretary Sonny Angara delivered a message to the league and its stakeholders.
GMA Network, Inc. Chairman Atty. Felipe L. Gozon also gave a video message to the league.
