The girls of G22 are set to perform the theme song of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Season 100.
According to Nelson Canlas' report on "24 Oras," Tuesday, the song is titled "Own The Future," which was also composed by the rising P-pop girl group.
The song includes the lines "This is our league/This is our moment/Sa puso mo, sky is the limit."
"Gusto namin malaman ng mga tao, especially young people na the sky's [the] limit, kaya nila lahat ng mga pangarap nila, to keep dreaming, and believe in yourself, and siyempre stay humble but believe in yourself and be proud of yourself," Jaz said.
The girls also said that it is a dream come true for them to be the singers of the new theme song.
"We're so grateful for this opportunity kasi growing up, we would watch NCAA, 'di ba? Support different schools, support their own teams, and [ang] makabilang po sa kakanta ng theme song, it's just a surreal moment for us. Definitely another one for the books for G22," AJ said.
They will be performing the song live during the opening ceremony on September 7.
"Finally mape-perform po namin siya live din sa lahat sa MOA arena po 'yan. And also, thank you so much po talaga for this opportunity," Alfea said.
