For the second straight time, the NCAA juniors basketball MVP comes from Las Piñas.

This, as young big man Lebron Jhames Daep captured the top individual award in Season 100 for steering University of Perpetual Help System DALTA to another finals appearance.

The 6-foot-7 bruiser emerged as the second consecutive MVP from the Junior ALTAs after Amiel Acido, who bagged the same award last year to become the first-ever player to do so in the school's history in the high school ranks.

Daep posted an impressive 51.88 player average value (PAV) to take the coveted individual plum and lead the Mythical Five alongside teammate Jan Roluna (46.44), Sanlea Peñaverde of San Sebastian (47.44), Jhuniel Dela Rama of Letran (45.44), and EJ Castillo of EAC (42.55).

Daep, Dela Rama, and Peñaverde are also part of the Defensive Team together with Sean Franco of Arellano University and rookie Allan Laurenaria of Mapua University.

Franco, who collected 50 rebounds, 11 steals, and eight blocks in six games played, is crowned the Defensive Player.

Meanwhile, Laurenaria bagged the Rookie of the Year award, while sophomore Jericho Cristino of Perpetual was adjudged the Most Improved Player.

Cristino jumped by 62 places in the rankings, going from 76th in Season 99 to 14th in the centennial season to beat Dela Rama for the award.
