It's one last dance for Clint Escamis.

The former NCAA Most Valuable Player announced that he will be returning for his third and final playing year with Mapua University in the Cardinals' bid to defend their title come NCAA Season 101.

With Escamis still in the fold for the Cardinals, Mapua is expected to remain a title favorite next edition as he links up anew with incoming sophomore stars Lawrence Mangubat and Chris Hubilla as well as veteran Cyrus Cuenco.

The 24-year-old court general was initially undecided about his return after pondering on his future career that could have seen him in professional ranks here and abroad, but he opted to run it back with the Cardinals.

Escamis made a comeback to Mapua in Season 99 and immediately made a huge impact as he steered the squad to the finals before they bowed to San Beda University in three games.

Escamis and a rejuvenated Mapua, though, made sure the same heartbreak would not happen again the following year as they swept the second round of the eliminations all the way to the Season 100 crown to end the school's 33-year men's basketball title drought.

Before his Mapua homecoming, the Red Robins product spent a season with University of the East in the UAAP.
