EAC ends NCAA Season 100 run on high note with win vs JRU

Emilio Aguinaldo College defeated Jose Rizal University, 73-66, on Friday to end its run in NCAA Season 100.

The Generals finished with an 8-9 card to finish fifth, while the Heavy Bombers ended the season with five straight losses to finish with a 4-14 card.

Shawn Argente put JRU ahead, 68-64, at the halfway mark of the fourth period before EAC mounted a rally after Harvey Pagsanjan's freebies off an Argente foul. King Gurtiza made a 5-0 personal run to extend the Generals' lead, 73-64, before claiming the victory.

King Gurtiza capped his collegiate run with 18 points, six rebounds, four assists, a steal, and a block, while Harvey Pagsanjan had 17 points, six rebounds, three blocks, and two steals.

MJ Barrera had 18 points, while Shawn Argente had 15 points for JRU.
