The tight race for a Final Four spot continues on Saturday in NCAA Season 100 with three teams playing to improve their chances for a semis ticket.
University of Perpetual Help System DALTA will open the double-header at 11:00 a.m. at the Filoil EcoOil Centre as it goes against San Sebastian College-Recoletos.
The ALTAs (6-10) will fight for survival as a win will keep them in the race, while a loss will eliminate them from contention.
San Sebastian (4-11), meanwhile, has been ousted from the Final Four race by virtue of Lyceum of the Philippines University's eighth win.
Back in the first round, the ALTAs defeated the Golden Stags, 60-52.
Emilio Aguinaldo College and Arellano University, on the other hand, will face off at 2:30 p.m. with semis chances at stake.
The Generals currently sit at the fifth spot with seven wins and eight losses, while the Chiefs are at the seventh place with a 6-9 win-loss card. A win for EAC will put them at a tie with LPU at no. 4. An Arellano victory, on the other hand, will tie the two teams in the standings.
EAC defeated Arellano in OT, 87-80, in the first round.
