JM Bravo says no timeline yet for his return, takes recovery cautiously | NCAA Philippines

Lyceum of the Philippines University is expected to continue missing the services of JM Bravo as the veteran wingman recovers from the incident that transpired last week in NCAA Season 100.

The fourth-year baller, who fell unconscious after an unintentional collision with Arellano University's Renzo Abiera late in their clash last Saturday, said his doctors told him to not take his recovery lightly and quickly so as to avoid further complications.

Bravo, however, said he is already cleared from major injury but is still awaiting clearance to play again.

So once na maumpog ako or may mangyari na impact sa ulo ko, pwede mag-bleed sa utak ako," Bravo said on Saturday as he makes his first public appearance since the unfortunate incident.

For now, all Bravo does is rest and do minimal activities as this wasn't the first time it happened to him.

Back in his high school days, Bravo revealed he also had an encounter where he went unconscious during a basketball game, saying fatigue may be the cause of it.

So parang fatigue then pero nung nag EEG ako, normal naman daw. Nangyayari daw talaga ‘yun."

With Bravo out, the Pirates lost their game against University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in overtime, 89-83, to fall to 6-7 in the team standings.

However, Bravo isn't losing hope, especially in his bid to help his team make the Final Four despite a challenging season so far.
