Lyceum of the Philippines University player JM Bravo regained consciousness after being down late in their game against Arellano University on Saturday.
"He just finished his CT scan, negative naman ang CT scan. Meron siyang kaunting dizziness, masakit ang ulo, masakit ang panga kasi that's where he got hit. In fact he's being discharged," Season 100 Management Committee chair and LPU Mancomm representative Hercules Callanta told reporters on Saturday.
Callanta said they are just waiting for discharge instructions from the doctor and added that Bravo should rest and not attend practice, and refrain from going to school, at least on Monday, just to rest.
The Management Committee chair also said what happened to Bravo was unrelated to the latter's spine injury.
"Totally unrelated kasi ito it's because of a blow to the head, caused by another head na nag-clash," he said.
Callanta added that Bravo can still play if cleared by the doctors.
In a report by GMA Integrated News' Nico Waje, Callanta said Bravo will need to undergo concussion protocol for 48 hours.
