Lyceum of the Philippines University's JM Bravo was stretchered off the court late in their match against Arellano University on Saturday at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
Bravo was seen on the floor after a battle for the rebound late in the fourth period.
;According to the initial update in the game's broadcast, Bravo was already speaking but was experiencing breathing difficulties after he was moved out of the court.
Bravo returned in the second round of the tournament after being initially ruled out of the season for his spine injury. However, he got clearance after a second opinion and immediately made impact in his return.
Arellano eventually won against LPU, 91-86.
