Allen Liwag will face his former team Emilio Aguinaldo College when De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde takes on the Generals on Saturday, 2:30 p.m. in NCAA Season 100 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.
This will be Liwag's first encounter with EAC in the NCAA since leaving the Generals' barracks in 2023.
Liwag has been a crucial part of the Blazers' performance as he has averages of 17.5 points, 16.0 rebounds, 3.0 blocks, and 1.5 assists in their past two games against Mapua University and San Beda University.
Benilde also hopes to extend its winning streak to three as it faces a rejigged EAC squad.
EAC is currently at 1-1 after winning against Arellano University and falling to Mapua.
Aside from the Taft-based squad, San Sebastian College-Recoletos is also eyeing its third straight win as it takes on defending champion San Beda at 11:00 a.m.
Paeng Are has been steady for the Golden Stags as he already posted averages of 27.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 9.5 assists, and 1.5 steals as they won against Colegio de San Juan de Letran and Lyceum of the Philippines University.
The Red Lions, meanwhile, hope to bounce back from their loss against the Blazers. San Beda opened its title defense bid with a win against LPU.
