Pao Javillonar's suspension down to two games after Letran's appeal

The NCAA has reduced Pao Javillonar's suspension to two games following an appeal filed by Colegio de San Juan de Letran before the league's Management Committee.

Javillonar confirmed the news on Saturday and shared that he was also handed out with a community service, two punishments that came after he participated in an invitational match with Converge at the 39th Kadayawan Invitational Basketball Tournament in late July.

This means that the graduating big man will be sidelined only during the Knights' clash against San Sebastian College-Recoletos on September 8 and Jose Rizal University on September 13.

The original sanction was a three-game ban, but Javillonar and Letran appealed his case as he's already playing his final year with Letran.

With Javilonar out, Letran will bank on with other holdovers in Kobe Monje, Kevin Santos, Rafael Go, and Deo Cuajao as rookie coach Allen Ricardo makes his seniors debut.
