Jun Roque banners Gilas 3x3 in FIBA U23 Nations League | NCAA Philippines

Colegio de San Juan de Letran's Jun Roque will represent the flag when he plays for Gilas Pilipinas U23 3x3 men's squad in the FIBA 3x3 Youth Nations League slated next week in China.

Roque, who transferred to Letran after a two-season stint in Perpetual, will link up with the likes of Patrick Sleat, Rey Remogat, JM Tulabut, Jynno Ladimo, and Zedjay Etulle as they represent the Philippines in the three-a-side tournament.

Patrick Fran will serve as the head coach while Ronnie Magsanoc will stand as the team manager.

In the women's division, the team is composed of Camille Clarin, Kristine Cayabyab, Angelica Marie Surada, Karl Pingol, Elaine Etang, and Cheska Apag.

The tournament, which will feature 73 teams per gender across five continents, will kick off on June 10 and will run until June 6 as the global basketball body looks to shape the next 3x3 stars.

Several current basketball stars such as Hailey van Lith of USA and Mai Yamamoto of Japan were among those who previously saw action in the Nations League.
