Basketball players from Colegio de San Juan de Letran, Mapua University, Lyceum of the Philippines University, and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde joined the 'GMA Masterclass: The Social Media Literacy Series' at the GMA Network Center premises in Quezon City.
In the workshop, the student-athletes were taught about social media etiquette and how they can use social media to tell their stories as athletes.
The Letran Knights' session, which was held last February 22, was attended by players and Management Committee Representative Fr. Victor Calvo, OP.
Last February 27, the Mapua Cardinals had their session with players such as Joaquin Garcia, head coach Randy Alcantara, and ManCom representative Melchor Divina. Sparkle artists Bryce Eusebio and Shuvee Etrata also graced the workshop.
The LPU Pirates, meanwhile, had their session last February 29 with players such as Vince Cunanan, Gyle Montaño, Mclaude Guadaña, head coach Gilbert Malabanan, and ManCom representative Hercules Callanta. Sparkle artists Haley Dizon and Miss Universe Philippines 2021 Beatrice Luigi Gomez also went to the workshop.
The Benilde Blazers capped the series for basketball players on Tuesday, with players such as Mark Sangco and Justine Sanchez, and ManCom representative Dax Castellano in attendance. Sparkle artists Faith de Silva, Angel Guardian, and Chef Jose Sarasola also visited the workshop.
GMA Network's Senior Vice President and Head of Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso welcomed the participants, together with the speakers from GMA Integrated News Digital, and teams from GMA Regional TV and Synergy.
