NCAA: HS standout Chris Hubilla changes plans, commits to Letran

Chris Hubilla is staying in the NCAA.

The former San Beda University high school standout has changed his plans as he gave his commitment to play for Colegio de San Juan de Letran instead, almost a year after he pledged to play for University of the Philippines in the UAAP

Letran athletics director Fr. Vic Calvo, OP shared the huge development to GMA News Online on Saturday as the Knights continue their massive offseason recruitment haul.

Hubilla was a big name in the juniors ranks, leading the Red Cubs in his lone year in Season 98 where the school reached the Final Four before falling to LSGH in two games.

Following that, the 6-foot-4 gave his commitment to the Fighting Maroons. He has yet to suit up for the Katipunan crew in the last UAAP Season 86 as he is still on his way to finish senior high school first.

Hubilla can already play for the Knights in NCAA Season 100.
