NCAA: Mapua guard Peter Rosillo transfers to Letran

After an impressive rookie year in NCAA Season 99, Peter Rosillo has decided to leave Mapua University and jump ship to Colegio de San Juan de Letran.

The 5-foot-8 guard confirmed the development to GMA News Online.

Rosillo became the latest player to join the Knights' offseason recruitment haul after former Perpetual big man Mark Denver Omega, both of whom will be eligible to suit up in Season 101.

Rosillo was among the key cogs for Mapua last season, providing support for his seniors Clint Escamis, Paolo Hernandez, Marc Cuenco, and Warren Bonifacio as they marched to the finals round against San Beda University. However, they faltered in Game 3 as the title remained elusive for the Cardinals.

Despite that, Rosillo was able to make a name for himself, averaging 5.19 points, 3.14 rebounds, and 1.81 assists. He was also crucial in Mapua's Finals Game 1 win against San Beda for being the 'Jacob Cortez stopper.'
