Mark Omega bids Perpetual goodbye

Mark Denver Omega joined the growing list of players who have left University of Perpetual Help System DALTA as the young big man announced his departure from the school.

Omega confirmed the development to GMA News Online as he marked the end of a three-year stint with the ALTAs in the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

Omega, a product of Colegio de San Juan de Letran in high school, made his Perpetual debut in Season 97 and immediately made an impact, averaging 5.42 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks to help the ALTAs reach the Final Four stage.

In Season 99, Omega has proven himself as one of the rising big men in the league, posting 6.56 markers, 8.17 boards, 1.39 assists, 0.72 steals, and 0.39 blocks as the Las Piñas crew fell just short of a semifinals spot.

With Omega's exit, Perpetual has lost three key players in incoming third year players Jun Roque and Cyrus Nitura, who had since announced his transfer to Emilio Aguinaldo College.
