Another promising talent has left University of Perpetual Help System DALTA as young gun Cyrus Nitura opted to bring his act to Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Nitura bared the development to GMA News Online on Sunday and became the second Perpetual player to leave the school after Jun Roque, who on Saturday revealed his decision to depart from the ALTAs after two seasons.
Nitura, who suited up for Adamson University in high school, played for Perpetual for two seasons and emerged as one of the important pieces to the ALTAs' program.
In Season 99, the lefty 6-foot-4 forward showed he can lead Perpetual with averages of 10.11 points, 6.83 rebounds, 3.78 assists, 1.39 steals, and 0.5 blocks as the Las Piñas crew finished with a 10-8 card.
For Nitura, however, it is time to move on from Perpetual and join the Generals.
Nitura is expected to join the Generals in NCAA Season 101.
Nitura and Roque's shock exit came weeks after Perpetual made a coaching change by bringing in Olsen Racela at the helm, with former head coach Myk Saguiguit serving as assistant coach.
