JRU, San Beda join GMA Masterclass: The Social Media Literacy Series | NCAA Philippines

Basketball players from Jose Rizal University and San Beda University joined the 'GMA Masterclass: The Social Media Literacy Series' which kicked off on January 23 at the GMA Network Center premises in Quezon City.

In the workshop, the student-athletes are taught about social media etiquette and how they can use social media to tell their stories as athletes.

The Heavy Bombers' session, which was held last January 23, was attended by head coach Louie Gonzales, and more than 15 players, including the likes of Shawn Argente, Theo Pabico, and Ivan Panapanaan.

San Beda's session held last Thursday, was attended by head coach Yuri Escueta, and around 20 players, including Yukien Andrada, Jomel Puno, and Nygel Gonzales.

GMA Network's Senior Vice President and Head of Integrated News, Regional TV and Synergy Oliver Victor B. Amoroso welcomed the participants, together with the speakers from GMA Integrated News Digital, and teams from GMA Regional TV and Synergy.

The GMA Masterclass Series is an award-winning series recognized by the Philippine Quill Awards and Gandingan Multimedia Awards.
