Mapua eyes third straight win in face-off vs. JRU; Letran hopes to break through in triple-header

Mapua University is eyeing to get its third straight win when it takes on Jose Rizal University on Sunday noon in NCAA Season 99.

The Cardinals have been on a roll as it opened its campaign with wins against San Sebastian College-Recoletos and San Beda University. The Heavy Bombers, meanwhile, are at 1-1 after winning their opener against defending champs Colegio de San Juan de Letran and falling to De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

Meanwhile, the Knights hope to barge into the win column when it takes on the Emilio Aguinaldo College who already has a win against University of Perpetual Help System-DALTA. The face-off will happen at 10 am.

To cap Sunday's triple-header, the Red Lions and the Blazers, both at 1-1, will go head-to-head at the 2:40 pm.
