San Beda University added another weapon into its arsenal as it tapped champion coach Norman Black as the Red Lions' team consultant.
The team's social media pages made the announcement on Wednesday.
According to the team, Black will also coach San Beda's big men.
Black, an 11-time PBA champion coach, also steered Ateneo de Manila University to a rare 5-peat championship from 2008-2012.
The Yuri Escueta-mentored San Beda, which finished in the Final Four with a 12-6 card, will open its campaign in NCAA Season 99 against Arellano University on Tuesday.
