Former Arellano University forward Archie Concepcion steered NLEX to a 78-71 victory against Phoenix Super LPG in the 5-on-5 tournament of the 2023 PBA Draft Combine on Wednesday at the Gatorade Hoops Center.

Concepcion, who last played in the NCAA in Season 97, put together 14 points to bag the MVP honors while Raymond Binuya starred with 21 markers as NLEX took home the P50,000 prize money.

For being named MVP, Concepcion also bagged the P5,000 and another P5,000 for being a member of the Mythical Team alongside other NCAA stars in Warren Bonifacio and Rence Nocum as well as Ralph Cu and Jayson Apolonio.

Meanwhile, Kenneth Tuffin received P5,000 for ruling the three-point shootout contest.

The Draft Combine precedes the Draft proper this Sunday with a record 128 aspirants hoping to play in Asia's pioneering and oldest basketball league.
