After leaving Arellano University, shifty guard Axel Doromal has found a new home as he transferred to Emilio Aguinaldo College.
Doromal confirmed the news to GMA Integrated News as he looks to spend his last playing year in the NCAA with the Generals. He will only be eligible to play in Season 100 after fulfilling residency requirements.
Doromal had previously decided to leave the Chiefs early this month with an eye at going professional, which came at a time where Arellano is rebuilding ahead of Season 99 this September.
He is tipped to be a great boost for an EAC squad that finished dead last in the previous season with a 3-15 win-loss card. He is expected to join a young brigade that includes Mac Balowa, Nicole Quinal, Erlan Umpad, Art Cosa, and Andrey and Adam Doria.
Doromal was a key cog for Arellano in Season 98, where he averaged 16.0 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.4 assists as the Chiefs racked up a 7-11 win-loss card.
