San Beda University is not yet done with its roster revamp as the Red Lions secured the commitment of top high school recruit Nygel Gonzales as well as Bryan Sajonia, who transferred from Far Eastern University.
Gonzales is a product of Mapua University high school program and saw action in the recently-concluded NCAA Season 98 juniors basketball tournament, where the Red Robins finished at second spot after the elimination round with a 6-3 card.
The 22-year-old Sajonia, meanwhile, suited up for the Tamaraws for two seasons and could play for San Beda in NCAA Season 100 after a one-year residency.
The two young cagers are the new additions to the Red Lions roster after Bismarck Lina, who also jumped ship from UAAP to NCAA after leaving University of the Philippines following a two-season stint.
They will beef up a promising lineup bannered by Yukien Andrada, Jacob Cortez, Gab Cometa, and Peter Alfaro as they look to bring San Beda back to its glory days after missing the finals for two seasons in a row.
