College of Saint Benilde-La Salle Green Hills recovered from a previous loss as it handed a 98-74 beating to San Sebastian College-Recoletos to strengthen its playoff chances in the NCAA Season 98 juniors basketball tournament on Monday.

After absorbing a 79-73 loss to Colegio de San Juan de Letran last Friday, LSGH has improved to 6-3 and drawing level with San Sebastian in the standings.

Luis Pablo led the charge for the Greenies with a double-double of 24 points, 14 rebounds, four assists, and one block while Seven Gagate collected 17 markers, 18 boards, two dimes, and four blocks as LSGH ended the elimination round on a high note.

Mark De Leon's 17 points, 13 rebounds, and one steal for the Staglets went for naught as San Sebastian snapped its five-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, SJ Moore once again powered Arellano University as they pulled off a 91-76 victory over Lyceum of the Philippines University. Although both teams have already been eliminated, Moore didn't mind giving his best, finishing with a game-high of 29 points as the Braves wrapped up their campaign with a 3-6 slate.

Season 95 runner-up Lyceum, however, closed out its campaign on a four-game losing slump as it fell to 3-6 as well.
