De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde's Jimboy Pasturan and Taine Davis said they have accepted John Amores' apology after the former Heavy Bomber visited the Blazers' training last week.
"Binigyan namin ng chance na pumunta doon at siyempre, pasalamat din kami na nagpunta siya doon, humingi ng pasensya. Tinanggap namin nang buo 'yun," Pasturan said in an interview on 'Game On' aired on Wednesday.
"I was quite surprised because it was quite some time but we really did appreciate it, actually coming through and apologize. It means a lot," Davis echoed.
While the two players accepted Amores' apology, the two Blazers said the former JRU player should still face the consequences of his actions.
"At the end of the day, actions have consequences and I guess he has to learn from it," Davis said.
"Kaiilangan niya pa rin harapin 'yun para maka-move on tayo lahat," Pasturan added.
The two players filed a physical injuries complaint against Amores following the heated Benilde-JRU game on November 8 where the former Heavy Bomber punched Benilde players.
Benilde head coach Charles Tiu previously said Amores' move was a step in the right direction following the altercation.
