Lyceum of the Philippines University and San Sebastian College-Recoletos will look to bolster their bids for a playoff slot when they take on each other on Sunday in NCAA Season 98.

Lyceum and San Sebastian, sitting in the third and fifth spots respectively, clash in the 3 p.m. schedule while Jose Rizal University collides with already-eliminated University of Perpetual Help System DALTA at 12 p.m.

The Pirates will carry a two-game win streak into their clash against the Stags who, on the other hand, are fresh from a 92-74 win over JRU in a game were the Heavy Bombers fielded just six players due to suspensions of 11 players following the John Amores incident.

Lyceum is off from an 81-80 morale-boosting victory over San Beda University last Wednesday with Omar Larupay and team captain Enzo Navarro steadying the ship for the Gilbert Malabanan-mentored team.

Rookie Rhinwill Yambing, meanwhile, is tipped to pick up where he left off from his last outing where he poured in a career-high 36 points, which was the most production by any player this season.

In the opening game, JRU will look to bounce back from a three-game losing streak against Perpetual, who was booted out of contention following San Beda's 71-63 win over Mapua University on Saturday.

The Heavy Bombers will also see several of their players return from their one-game suspensions, but big man Ryan Arenal and guard William Sy will still be absent as they were slapped with two-game and three-game suspensions each.
