Kim Aurin no longer part of Perpetual ALTAs, says coach Myk Saguiguit | NCAA Philippines

Kim Aurin's collegiate days are over earlier than expected.

University of Perpetual Help System DALTA head coach Myk Saguiguit said the graduating guard is no longer part of the team for reasons he opted not to divulge at this time, pending the official announcement from the school.

In a previous interview, Saguiguit said they were just awaiting Aurin's fate after the player violated team protocol, but the coach didn't give specifics on which rules Aurin broke.

Aurin's absence from the Perpetual bench started last October 18, when the Altas fell to a 74-59 loss to Colegio de San Juan De Letran and with the 6-foot-2 shooting guard missing, Perpetual continued its downfall.

They had lost three of the last four games since the game against the Knights as the Las Piñas school dropped to 5-9 in the team standings.

Aurin was one of Perpetual's focal points of offense, averaging 13.75 points, 5.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 0.88 blocks, and 0.63 steals in eight games he played.
