San Beda University and San Sebastian College-Recoletos will look to extend their respective win streaks when they meet anew on Sunday in NCAA Season 98 at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.
San Beda and San Sebastian, both protecting a two-game winning streak, clash at 12 p.m. while Jose Rizal University will vie to repeat over Arellano University at 3 p.m. with the former looking to bag its second victory in a row.
San Beda got the last laugh against San Sebastian in their first round meeting after the Red Lions pulled off a 78-71 win and the Mendiola crew is riding on the momentum of back-to-back wins against Emilio Aguinaldo College and Arellano.
With veteran James Kwekuteye and JB Bahio leading the way, San Beda will be up against the Stags who are also high in morale after booking their first back-to-back wins against JRU and Arellano.
In the second game, JRU is looking to build on its 61-60 escape of EAC last Friday after Agem Miranda sank the game-winning basket that bailed the Heavy Bombers out after blowing a 17-point lead.
JRU will hope to continue that momentum against the Chiefs, who are struggling following twin losses that dropped them to 5-8 in the team standings.
