Colegio de San Juan de Letran hasn't dropped a game since September 26, or when the Knights fell to surprise contender Lyceum of the Philippines University in an 82-75 defeat.
And the defending champions are not planning on dropping one on Sunday against San Sebastian College-Recoletos when the two teams cross paths at 3 p.m. at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.
Letran is coming off a 65-53 escape of Arellano University last Friday, where King Caralipio and veterans Fran Yu and Brent Paraiso took over late as the Chiefs threatened a comeback.
The victory over Arellano allowed Letran to stretch its winning streak to five games, but head coach Bonnie Tan said they have to improve their game from here on out if they want to pick up more wins.
"Sana katulad nung last game (against Perpetual) na double-digits ang lead and all throughout the game ata no'n we're up eh. Kanina hindi eh, kami 'yung kailangan maka-recover," said Tan.
San Sebastian, meanwhile, has had a tumultuous campaign this season, losing four games straight before finally breaking the slump last October 14 with a 78-61 mastery of Emilio Aguinaldo College.
The Stags are expected to bank on big man Jessie Sumoda, guard Alex Desoyo, and other veterans in Kenneth Villapando, Rommel Calahat, and Ichie Altamirano.
