Embattled Emilio Aguinaldo College and Mapua University look to stage upsets when the two bottom teams take on separate foes on Wednesday in NCAA Season 98.

EAC, coming off a breakthrough win against De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde, faces Lyceum of the Philippines University at 3 p.m. at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

Mapua, meanwhile, will eye to follow up its upset victory over Lyceum last week when it tackles Benilde in the opening salvo at 12 p.m.

EAC is high in morale after dealing league-leading Benilde its second loss of the season with an 80-75 escape with veteran Nat Cosejo showing how it's done.

The fourth-year forward poured in a career-high 24 points to steer the Generals to their maiden win of the season following a 0-9 start. And head coach Oliver Bunyi is demanding his players to have the same mindset against the Pirates, who are eager to bounce back from a previous loss.

"We have to remind them na meron naman talaga sila eh. We saw that before sa preseason pero nawala lang talaga eh. Kailangan lang talaga ma-sustain ng gano'ng mindset," Bunyi said.

"Physically, nakakahabol naman kami sa mga teams eh pero iba talaga 'yung mental side."

The Cardinals are also expected to go all out against the Blazers in bid to stretch their win streak to three following a shaky start to the season, that saw the team go winless in eight games.

Mapua recently outplayed Lyceum behind stellar performances from Paolo Hernandez and JJ Pido with big man Arvin Gamboa continuing to be in sick bay.
