Nat Cosejo is not dwelling on the negatives even as Emilio Aguinaldo College faces a tough task as they attempt to to move forward in NCAA Season 98 without two of their scorers in Ralph Robin and King Gurtiza.
Robin and Gurtiza were both suspended by the team for the rest of the season after violating a team rule.
But even without the two, Cosejo said they will go all out to snap their slump.
“Scorer kasi sila kaya malaking factor din na mawala sila and ‘yung scoring ability nila,” said Cosejo after steering Team Heroes to a win over Team Saints in the GMA NCAA All-Star Basketball on Saturday.
“Sabi ni coach nothing to lose na kami kaya dapat wala ng pressure tsaka ayun lang, bigay namin ‘yung best namin para makabawi sa second round.”
Cosejo said he respects the decision made by head coach Oliver Bunyi and the management, even with Robin and Gurtiza leading their backcourt.
Robin was EAC’s third leading scorer with an 8.43 points per game average while Gurtiza normed 4.5 markers in the six games he played.
“Sa amin naman, kung ano ‘yung decision ni coach… kay coach pa rin ‘yung decision eh,” Cosejo said.
