With preparations for NCAA Season 98 going full steam ahead, broadcast hosts Martin Javier, Anton Roxas, and Martin Antonio gave a glimpse of what they are expecting for the upcoming season.
For Martin Javier, he is expecting the teams to be sharper due to having more preparation time for Season 98.
"We're also expecting the teams to be a little bit more prepared and warmed up kasi marami silang sinalihang preseason [tournaments], marami silang preparation, kasama na 'yung Season 97 na naganap namin," Javier said in Aubrey Carampel's report on GMA newscast 24 Oras.
Martin Antonio, meanwhile, said he expects a livelier crowd as they may affect the outcome of a game due to their intensity.
"'Yung mga fans, mga estudyante, 'yun ang inaabangan talaga natin," he added.
Anton Roxas, on the other hand, is looking forward to more stories of players achieving their dreams.
"Gusto ko makita ngayong Season 98 'yung mga kuwento ng perseverance, determination, players chasing their dreams because that's primarily the objective of the NCAA: to give the student athletes a platform para maabot ang kanilang mga pangarap."
NCAA Season 98 opens on September 10 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. GMA Network is the broadcast partner of the NCAA.
