Letran bruiser Louie Sangalang reveals who inspires his on-court 'swag' | NCAA Philippines

Louie Sangalang, the always-spirited big man of Colegio de San Juan de Letran, revealed that he modeled his on-court swag from no less than Calvin Abueva of the Magnolia Hotshots in the PBA.

The 6-foot-4 Sangalang has been known for his high energy and on-court antics in the games, even if he is whistled for a few fouls in the process. But the big man stressed it is just his way of energizing his teammates, especially in crucial matches.

Sangalang added that he likes to emulate Abueva, who has been his basketball idol ever since the PBA forward's days with San Sebastian College-Recoletos in the collegiate ranks.

Walang matatakot."

Sangalang added that his swag is limited to the four corners of the court, stressing he's a gentle giant outside of the game.

"Effective naman siguro kasi last season nakuha namin 'yung championship."
