Chef Jose Sarasola cooks in NCAA All-Star Game, bags celebrity MVP plum

Celebrity chef Jose Sarasola cooked something good for basketball fans at the GMA-NCAA All-Star Game held on Sunday in the FilOil Flying V Centre in San Juan.

Sarasola bagged the Celebrity Most Valuable Player plum after knocking down four three-pointers in the game.

His performance proved to be crucial for Team Saints' 109-109 stalemate against Team Heroes as he tallied 14 points, also the highest score among celebrity players.

"Happy Sunday!" he wrote on Instagram after sharing a photo of him with his trophy.

Among his celebrity teammates, Rocco Nacino scored nine points and Pancho Magno added eight. Paul Salas had six markers while Gil Cuerva went scoreless.

Meanwhile, Sparkle star Ervic Vijandre scored 10 points for the Team Heroes. David Licauco registered six points, while Luis Hontiveros had two. Jason Abalos did not score any points.
