Arellano University's Justin Arana and other collegiate standouts Shaun Ildefonso, Gian Mamuyac, and Javi Gomez de Liaño were tapped by Gilas Pilipinas to be included in the national training pool.
Head coach Chot Reyes relayed the decision to PBA commissioner Willie Marcial ahead of the league's Rookie Draft on Sunday.
While they were tapped for the national team, they can still be drafted by the league's ball clubs.
"They will be on standby when the need arises," Reyes said.

The teams will choose their picks on Sunday with Blackwater Bossing getting their first pick.
