Just in time for the highly-anticipated rivalry game between Colegio de San Juan de Letran and San Beda University on Friday, April 29, the NCAA said it will open the doors anew to fans.
NCAA Season 97 Management Committee chairman Dax Castellano told GMA News Online that with the league returning to the FilOil Flying V Centre, live audiences can soon be back on the stands.
"Sa San Beda-Letran game meron na ulit na mga fans tapos sa play-in and then tuloy-tuloy na," Castellano said.
According to Castellano, tickets will be sold on Tuesday, April 26, at the earliest as the league will allow a 100-percent audience capacity.
After the San Beda-Letran clash, which will wrap up the elimination round, the play-in games will kick off on May 1 while the semifinal stage starts on May 8. The best-of-three finals series is slated for May 15.
This will be the first time since early 2020 that the league will open the games to the public as Season 96 saw the NCAA hold online events in chess and taekwondo due to the pandemic.
